Cindy vs. the Garlic!

So Mario and I decided to detox and go vegetarian for 21 days. I bought 11 nights worth of dinner recipes all vegetarian   Recipe one was lentil Chile, it used 3garlic cloves was a bit garlicky for our liking but okay.  Recipe two used 5 garlic cloves (vegetarian burgers)  it was so garlicky I had to throw it out uneatable.  Recipe three vegetable shepereds pie, used 5garlic cloves again so garlicky I had too throw it out.  I was so disappointed all that money wasted, and I could understand because I am the worlds biggest garlic lover.  SO I pondered and pondered on it and finally I figured it out, a clove of garlic is one leaf of garlic here I was using one whole head of garlic, so instead of 5leafs of garlic going in 5heads of garlic went in.  HMMMM....  Thank you Mom for teaching me nothing at all about cooking!!

Good Food

HEY I MADE THESE TODAY THEY ARE SOOOOO YUMMY!!!


WE LOVED THEM!!  SOME VERATIONS I USED: I USED TWO FRESH LIMES AND SQUEEZED THE JUICE INSTEAD OF PRE-PACKAGED LIME JUICE, ONE LIME WAS SQUEEZED IN THE POT WITH THE VEGTABLES AND THE OTHER WAS SQUEEZED INTO THE PINTO BEAN MIXTURE.
-i USED MORE CHEESE THEN CALLED  FOR AS I TOPPED EACH LAYER WITH CHEESE
-MY PINTO BEANS AND CHILI POWDER WERE NOT SALT FREE
-FOR THE GREENS I USED 1/4 OF A BAG OF SPINAGH AND 1/4 OF A BAG OF BLUE CURLED KALE
-MY BELL PEPPER WAS FRESH NOT FROZEN.
-I USED FRESH CILANTRO AND CHOPPED IT UP IN MY NEW TOTALLY AWSOME FOOD PROCESSOR(SERIOUSLY PEOPLE YOU HAVEN'T LIVED TILL YOU GOT ONE!!)

IT'S GREAT TRY IT AND PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK HOW MUCH YA LOVE IT!!'


----BEST PART OF ALL:------
THERE WAS LOTS OF EXTRA OF THE VEGTABLES IN THE POT SO I PUT THEM IN THE FOOD PROCCESOR WITH TABASCO SAUCE AND MADE A REALLY TASTY SALSA, WHICH I FROZE TO GIVE TO CRYSTAL SINCE I KNOW SHE'S QUEEN OF THE SALSA'S!!
